Dr. Tim Wright graduated from The University of Houston, College of Optomety with highest possible honors. While in school, he was recognized by his fellow classmates and voted Most Outstanding Student. At Graduation, the faculty voted him the Most Outstanding Clinician. Since then, he has been voted as the Most Outstanding Optometrist by the citizens in Collin County.

Prior to his career in Medicine, Dr. Wright graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While there, he was invited into membership in both Honor Societies for engineering. Upon graduation, he was invited to perform Top Secret Research & Development for the U.S. Navy while working at General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas for six years.

Dr. Wright has served on the Board of Directors for the Southwest Contact Lens Society, a continuing medical education whose profit was invested into clinical research grants, and for the Plano Symphony Orchestra.

To stay current in his field, he attends hundreds of hours of workshops, symposiums and meetings so patients can benefit from the newest techniques. During your visit, you may see one of the many interns that Dr. Wright oversees in his role as Adjunct Faculty Member with The University of Houston.
